A couple of months ago we announced that our ‘next title’ was Nelson Keane’s Boxcar 5241, but a few things happened on the way to preparing the manuscript, namely that we felt it needed another round of editing. Fortunately, Nelson’s marvelous novel Nachzehrer had sat in my Galleon folder for over a year. I read the first page, then the second. It was promptly devoured, set-up, and will be ready to order by mid June, 2024. The cover artwork is by the fabulous Jacob Blanchet. Boxcar 5241 will see the light of readers’ eyes in 2025.
Meanwhile, there has been a minor but unavoidable delay with Shawn Lawlor’s Boom Road, thus causing us to miss our May 15 publishing deadline. That now sits at June 15.
